The Baggage of Worry and Anxiety
How often do you worry about the clothes you need to wear, the food you need to eat or the drink you need to take in your life? It is perfectly normal if you have this kind of worry.
However, if you do not know how to deal with your worry or anxiety, they will take away your energy and you will find it very difficult to stay in an empowering state.
Somebody describes worry as a rocking chair. You have something to do but you cannot walk.

Here are the findings of a research being done. An average person’s anxiety is focused on the following:
40% - things that will never happen
30% - things about the past that cannot be changed
12% - things about criticism by others, mostly untrue
10% - about health, which gets worse with stree
8% - about real problems that will be faced
Therefore, the source of your worries can be concluded in one word - Problems.
We all have problems in life and generally, there are only two types of problems we face in our lifetime.
Problems which you need to think about how to solve
This means your current situation which you can solve. For example, if you are not earning enough money to pay for your bills this month, what are the other ways that can help you do generate more money to pay off your bills next month?
Or if your staff is not doing very well in terms of his performance, what are the things you can do to help him boost up his performance instead of just sacking him?
These are the problems you CAN solve.
Problems which do not benefit you at all by thinking of them
These problems will not bring you anywhere. They will only be wasting your time and energy thinking about them.
Examples for these problems would be the past wrongdoings, past hurts, experiences where you have been treated unfairly and the list goes on. These are the things you cannot change.
You see, each and everyone of us has problems to deal with. It does not matter if you are a rich or poor. The richer you are, the more problems you will face. This is why in the Bible, it says the poor will sleep soundly at night and the rich will have worries over his money that he cannot sleep.
However, the rich people are ready to face whatever challenges or problems that are coming on their ways. They choose to do something about what they can solve now and not what they cannot solve.
I’ll leave you with a last lesson of this post - Don’t worry, do something!
