What Does A Man Value?
Do you know what a man values the most? If you have a boyfriend or a husband, what do you think they value?
There are 3 main things a man values:-
1. Dominion
Men are created in such a way they want to have dominion over certain things. They want to have authority so that they can rule and take the lead to get things done.
It does not matter if it’s in a family, business, company or discussion group. They tend to want to have dominion over these things.
I personally like to do most of the things by myself. Unless I really do not enjoy doing it, I will pass it to somebody else.
Dominion matters to men because it makes them feel good, implies and reveals their manhood.
2. Work
I am not sure if it is true that women do not like to work. One thing I know about men and they never like moments when they have absolutely nothing better to do.
Most men love to work. Some even place their work above everything else and this should not be your path, if you are a man and you are reading this.
Why do men love to work? It is because their career can reveal who they actually are. They want to be somebody, not merely someone who sits in front of the TV with packets of peanuts.
By working, men will also find themselves useful. If you do not know, when you make a man talks about what he is really good at and of good knowledge, it makes him feel so confident that there is nothing in the world he cannot do.
Competency and efficiency, in other words - usefulness is very meaningful and a big thing to men.
However, remember, never love your work more than your family. A real man is supposed to put family above work.
3. Achievement
This one here - achievement - women will not even bother, I mean majority of them. Men like to achieve results. They feel good when they achieve certain results.
When I was starting this blog - The Excellence Blog - I had little idea on how I should create or develop it. However, with my persistence, I finally had the idea of how I should be developing it.
Today, this page you are stopping by is not just a blog. It is an interesting and valuable blog that a lot of people would like to read.
Not only that, I managed to bring in traffic from a lot of places, not only from Malaysia. My effort has finally paid off.
When I have this sense of achievement, I feel so good looking at my blog. I asked myself, “Clement, I cannot believe you did this all by yourself!”.
Achievement. This is what gives a man a sense of self worth. It is defined through his ability to achieve result.
Male by Birth, Man by Choice!

First of all I would like to say congratulations on your achievement of a really cool blog with some impressive results. I’m always interested in what drives each of the sexes so this is really interesting to read an article about what men value most.
You mentioned that you are not sure if women like to work…it’s more that they are multi-taskers and their focus is in all different directions…they always see something that needs their attention so they go to thing to thing to thing…not always finishing anything…by nature they are caretakers. The feminine is also very non-linear so unless they are in masculine mode their focus is not on achievement necessarily…more about nurturing and relationship.

I’d like to point out that while it would be useful to have more information on the net about what men want, I don’t think this is very accurate. Don’t you think it’s a bit ridiculous to purport that all men value three things above all others? While men and women differ in ways I think there are stereotypical undertones here. I am a woman and I love to work, not because I don’t like to sit and eat peanuts all day but because I have ambitions for myself. I think its ludicrous to suggest that western women don’t bother trying to succeed in every possible way in life (this includes juggling a career, marriage and raising children). Then again, if you had interviewed women before writing the blog maybe you’d know this. I doubt you are a psychologist and if I’m right I suggest you make it clear at the beginning of the article that the three things stated above are things that you alone value.
