To a woman, love is extremely important. I was asking a lady friend of mine if she is still interested in good looking guys at her age. She told me no and she want a guy to pampers and cares about her.

I think it truly applies to a lot more couples out there I have seen. Sometimes I wonder why a pretty lady would choose a guy that is not good looking.

Well, the word good looking is very subjective. I mean, they just don’t match. In the end, I understand. Women are very different from guys. They want to be loved whereas men are usually visual animals.

That is why, if you want a healthy relationship or marriage, our dear brothers, just love your respective partners.

Men are like beasts, what beauty do men have for the women? It is the beauty of a relationship or marriage. If you are a man who comes out with surprises for your wife from time to time, the chances are, she will feel so appreciated and know deep in her heart, she is so loved.

It is the beauty of it. It is the action you take to make her happy. It is the action you take to make her feel she is the most important person living on earth.

Valentine’s this year, there was a guy who booked a billboard on a busy highway for about RM40,000, in order to propose to his girlfriend. On the billboard, it is written, "Kelly Tan E Li, Will You Marry Me?" and a photo of himself holding a diamond ring.

The whole nation knows about it. How do you think the girlfriend responded? Of course she said yes. If you were the girlfriend, would you?

The beauty of a relationship.

I think this is probably the reason why women like to talk. They value relationships. How often do you see a guy talks more than the girlfriend or wife?

I am not saying that guys do not value relationships. It is just the difference between men and women. For men, if something is not broken, they would not even bother to do anything about it. For women, they are constantly looking ways to make things better.

If your wife nags you, you know that she is trying to make things better because she values a relationship.

I know this might sound a little bit challenging to men but our dear brothers, please learn to listen to your girlfriend or wife when they talk. By listening to what they say, it is already a very good encouragement to them.

Not only that. Learn also to give her time, love, appreciation and everything else that makes her feel like she’s the most important person on earth.
