About The Author..

Who am I? No no, I am definitely not a famous person. My name is Clement Chee and I am just the author of this blog. Seriously, I don't know what to say about myself. I'll update this bit when I have got more to share about myself okay? For this moment, I hope you will find my blog interesting to read.

The Baggage of Offenses

In case you do not know, 70% of the people on earth today is actually angry with something. Are you one of them? Are you angry with someone or something?

If I tell you that I am among the 30% - who is not angry with anything - I am telling you a lie. I, too, am angry with something and often it is myself for not getting the things done.

When you are being offended, you are likely to get angry and it is close to impossible not to get offended in our everyday life. The subordinates that never get their work done, your friends that discourage you, family members not being supportive, your spouse not being very understanding or people bad mouth about you in the office.

So how do you handle your anger? One of the ways you can use is to deal with the problem immediately. Let’s say your friend is late when he is supposed to send you to the airport. It is because of his late coming, you missed the flight. This is a real bad scenario.

So you talk to your friend straight away, “Tom, you promised me that you can come and pick me up on time but now I’ve missed the fligh. What do you expect me to do?”

You can be angry that time but do not surpress the feelings. An example would be keeping it in your heart and does not tell your friend, Tom, about it.

The differences between the two is that, the moment you release your anger, you tend to release everything else. The moment you recover from your anger, you will find that the anger is not in your heart anymore.

If you have the baggage of offenses, make sure you get rid of them because you will face a lot more in the future. Imagine you are accumulating more and more anger in your so called ‘baggage’, one day you will explode like a volcano.
