Character Versus Talents/Skills
The differences between character versus talents and skills can be summarized as below.
- Characters must be developed, whereas talents / skills can be provided instantaneously.
- Characters takes time, effort and commitment to develop whereas talents / skills takes time to practice.
- Character involves your relationship with people whereas talents / skills involve your relationships with the tasks.
- Character involves inward measures whereas talents / skills involve outward measures. A very good guitarist does not necessarily mean he is a loving husband.
- Character lasts for a life time whereas talents / skills are temporary and requires constant changes.
